Allyson graduated from James Madison University in May 2009 with a Bachelor's in Education and in May 2010 with Master's in Education. She was a three year starter for the JMU Dukes as a Middle Hitter.
College accolades include First team All CAA (2006 and 2007), First Team All State in Virginia (2006 and 2007), Honorable Mention All-Region (2006), and CAA All-Tournament Team (2006). Allyson was also named Honorable Mention on the 2006 Collegiate Volleyball Update Stellar Spiker team, which features the top 80 players in the country.
Before attending James Madison University, Allyson attended Olentangy High School where she started on the Varsity Volleyball and Basketball teams. She played club for Central Ohio for two years and a year for Philadelphia's Synergy Volleyball Club.
Currently Allyson teaches at Oletangy Liberty High School and is the Varsity Assistant at Olentangy High School. This is her second year coaching for CVA.
