Players may tryout for Volley Masters teams at either location. Simply note on Player Profile form that you would like to be placed on a team that practices in either Mt Vernon or Marion.
Team Opportunities
Sprites (9-12 year olds)
A shortened 8-9 week season. Local practices. Teams will meet 2 times per week for two practices or 1 practice and 1 play date. There are 5-6 play dates with 2 matches per team on each play date. Play dates are in Columbus only. No further travel. No tryouts required. Simply register via website/mail. Cost: $375 ($150 due at registration Feb. 1, balance due March 1 - $150, April 1 - $75)
Regional Teams (12-18 year olds)
Practices start at the beginning of February with the season continuing through mid May. Practice 2 times weekly and will play 5 play dates in Ohio only. Cost: $600 ($200 due upon signing, balance due Dec. 1 - $200, Jan. 1 - $200)
American Teams (13-18 year olds) Practices start at the beginning of February with the season continuing through mid May. Practice 2 times weekly and will play 7 play dates. Some play dates may be outside Ohio in contiguous states. Cost: $700 ($200 due upon signing, balance due Dec. 1 - $200, Jan. 1 - $200, Feb. 1 - $100)
Elite National Teams (13-18 year olds)
These teams are for the elite athletes who are very serious about training and developing as volleyball players. Elite teams will practice up to 3 times per week and play on 11-12 play dates. Practices start in January on a limited basis and will pick up to a regular schedule in February. Travel is more extensive, encompassing Ohio and its surrounding states. Tournament play includes multi-day tournaments on Saturdays and Sundays and some Fridays. Cost: $1200 ($200 due upon signing, balance due Dec. 1 $300, Jan. 1 - $300, Feb. 1 - $300, March 1-$100)
It is expected that players commit to their respective teams for the duration of the season. If players choose to withdraw from participation on their team at any point during the club season there will be no refund of club dues. There is a $25 late fee charged for payments not received by the dates listed above. Payments can be made in cash or checks/money orders only, payable to: Volley Masters
